About Patty Forward

Through her journey in teaching, to a career in counselling and psychotherapy, Patty has been passionate about empowering people to be active participants in their own growth and healing. She has always believed that each person is born with a unique set of strengths, skills and gifts and once discovered, these abilities can be powerful resources for healing and building resiliency. As clients move through their counselling experience, Patty encourages them towards self-awareness, re-awakening of personal power, and into living more fully.

For many years, Patty has been re-discovering her own gifts of a strong intuition and a caring, compassionate heart, and she is delighted to have found a career in counselling that resonates with these abilities.

Growth and Experiences

Patty loves animals, enjoys spending time in nature, and the natural world has become a deep source of soul rejuvenation for her. A trip to India in the fall of 2019 was essential to deepening Patty's practices of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, as well as an amazing opportunity to experience the flavors of India with a group of wonderful, wise women.
